Join me on a photo journey with Caroline and John, who ventured from the Lansing area to Traverse City for a super fun engagement photo session at the Botanical Gardens. Against the early September flowers, they danced, laughed, and radiated a timeless love, making my work very easy!
Traverse City’s Village landscape provided the perfect setting for this love story. Caroline loves vintage and John likes the outdoors, so we met first at the sunken garden. Caroline and John’s nervous smiles soon relaxed into genuine play as they hugged, talked about their drive, and explored the garden. Next, we hiked around to the other gardens, fields, and finally the Victorian entrance to the Mercado.
I made sure to share all the Traverse City destinations to check out after the session, too. (I can be a virtual tour guide if you want!)
I’m so glad they decided to travel up for the weekend so we could get to know each other a little more before their big day.
