Picture-Perfect Wedding at the Homestead Resort

This summer, the Homestead Resort played host to the beautiful wedding of Jessica and Lucas.

The photos of their special day reflect not just a union of love but a collaborative effort that turned loving moments into awesome memories.

Jessica, not one to usually seek assistance, shared some practical advice for couples navigating the wedding planning journey: “Don’t be afraid to ask for help and communicate what you want. It really takes a team, and you’d be surprised how many are eager to pitch in.”

Breaking away from her usual self-reliance, Jessica recognized the value of leaning on loved ones for support during her wedding.

The result was a ceremony that effortlessly merged personal touches with the talents of friends and family.

“My sister-in-law made the majority of our decor, and my mother-in-law’s best friend was our florist. They worked so hard to make our vision perfect and were happy to do it! They made it such a beautiful day.”

The selection of the person of honor is crucial in wedding planning, and Jessica made an excellent choice. Dubbing her the “BEST maid of honor,” Jessica expressed gratitude for unwavering support throughout the day, from practical tasks like securing a wig to fun/critical moments like holding the dress during bathroom breaks and bringing her drinks on the dance floor!

“My advice to other couples would be to ask for help and voice what you want (and what you don’t want)! It truly takes a team and you’d be surprised at how many people want to help.”

Jessica and Lucas’s family and friends were all so happy to celebrate their amazing love and Jessica and Lucas’s day at the Homestead Resort serves as a reminder that weddings are a blend of love, teamwork, and the willingness to seek help when needed so everyone has a great time!

I’m so glad I could photograph their special day!
