Where Do Your Chestnuts Come From?

“Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…Jack Frost nipping at your nose..”

Time for the Holidays and some yummy food!

I hope you all are able to enjoy time with your family’s.

A few weeks back I got to see a chestnut orchard and learn about the harvest.. the next day I photographed dishes made with the same chestnuts!

If you are interested, the chestnuts come from CROFT  and the recipes can be found in the Holiday Issue of Edible Grande Traverse Magazine.

The photo shoot with the ever talented Janice Binkert was one that I just loved.

Her dishes were gorgeous and delicious.
