Pop the champagne!
I’d like to make a toast because Susie and Jayme got married!
Their wedding at M-72 Market in Traverse City was a lovely reflection of the two of them working together with friends and family to create an amazing day. From riding bikes up to the ceremony site, Jayme learning Susie’s favorite song and singing it to her, to Susie playing soccer with the guests (and her Mom getting all competitive! :) Their combined talents and interests made for a truly unique and fun celebration.
Raise a glass and congratulate the happy couple. Cheers!
I got the inside scoop as well, read below…
How did your day start?
SUSIE: Makkie (my 8-year-old niece and flower girl) and I went paddleboarding on East Bay in the morning, as my sister and her husband went to Oryana to get me a hemp milk latte.
How did you feel getting ready?
SUSIE: Rushed. I was finishing my hair, make-up, and flower bouquets for our DIY wedding in the car on the way to the ceremony. I was only 10 minutes late.
How did your day start? JAYME: My day started off by getting donuts and cider with my brother at Gallagher’s Farm Market on M-72. Then, my brother and I took a hike at Sleeping Bear Point in Glen Haven (Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore) and put our feet in Lake Michigan and threw rocks into the water and soaked up the sun.
How did you feel during the day? JAYME: The whole day felt surreal; almost as if I was in a dream — hovering over all of the events and watching the magic unfold. It was special.
SUSIE: You were very easy to work with and understood our vision for our pictures very quickly. You listened to us and our desires and picked up on our personalities. Each meeting we had with you prior to the wedding, you weren’t just interested in the details, you were studying us and picking up on the style and the story we wanted you to tell through our pictures. Somehow, you captured 963 photos for us and we barely even noticed you were there. You were like part of the family.
JAYME: We loved working with you. You captured beautifully every special moment that we had hoped you’d capture. 20-30 years from now, your pictures will still make us feel as if we are at our wedding experiencing it all over again. You captured moments; expressions; real-life. We appreciated how creative and thoughtful you were in all of your photos. Seriously, the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen.
·What is one suggestion you have for other couples?
SUSIE: Make sure you know and understand the story you want your photos to tell so that Tracy can visually tell your story.
JAYME: Don’t get to close to the forest to see the trees. Make sure to take a step back and live in the moment of your wedding. Trust Tracy to capture your special day. She’s the best.
Thank you so much, friends!!! Congratulations!
