Savannah and Raygan had an amazing wedding in Jackson, Mi.
Their day was filled with love, fun energy, and happiness.
Savannah told me that Raygan is her best friend. That he was her best friend even before they started dating!
They met in middle school band she played french horn and Raygan, trumpet.
They stayed friends in a big “friend group” for years. She didn’t realize that he had a secret crush!
After some time with Raygan in the “friend zone”.
Savannah decided it would be worth the risk since he was so kind and caring and they started dating.
And in her words, “The rest is history!”
They had the ceremony and reception at the American 1 event center. The large space was a blank slate for their friends and family to create a beautiful mix of vintage and modern touches that reflected the style of Savannah and Raygan.
* full disclosure I am friends with Savannah’s Dad and his family. This wasn’t a guarantee that they would want me for their day!
I’m so thankful Savannah said that I was the best choice!
A little advice always be sure to do your research and that you like your photographer’s style, mannerisms, and even ethics, as well as their price.
You have to spend a lot of time with them!
Electic and vintage pieces were used beautifully throughout the spaces.
Raygan and Savannah’s gift to guests was a make-your-own bouquet.
During the reception, coffee and tea were available with the desserts.
Maria made this sweet backdrop for everyone to use.
The ladies were getting ready.
Savannah’s sister, cousin, sister-in-law-to-be, and best friend were in her party.
A gift of a vintage photo album from her friend.
Savanna’s mom helped her get her dress on.
Savannah said she is very nostalgic and this vintage wedding dress she chose was just perfect.
Raygan wasn’t nervous. He was calm and super excited at the same time.
His friends were really excited for him.
Raygan with his parents.
Savanah and Raygan wanted a couple of minutes just to themselves (me documenting) before the ceremony.
so much love!
Pastor Tim made the ceremony sweet, fun, and moving.
The metallic runner was so cool!
After group photos we head outside with the wedding entourage, then just S+R.
Time for the party to start!
Savannah’s Dad is Tiki Sam (he had friends help) so there was excellent pizza to enjoy along with Gravity BBQ.
It was so good!
Bryan brought all kinds of excellent albums!
Micki and Jason were awesome hosts!
So many sweet moments!
So many people helped create a magical day.
The big send-off!
Congratulations Savannah and Raygan!!
I hope the two of you can look back on these photos and reminisce on your fabulous day.
