Grow Benzie

Grow Benzie is a non profit education and learning center where people can break the cycle of poverty by learning how to grow their own food and maybe even start their own food based business.

They have a community garden, barn, 3 industrial sized greenhouses and a community incubator kitchen!

I was privileged to spend the morning touring Grow Benzie.

Tracey Sheifele, who has her own business called Grandma’s Hot Fudge Sauce, showed me the incubator kitchen where she creates her sauce. Her product is so good I licked the lid when that was all that was left in the jar…

Visit this great place!

They have a Farm Market on Mondays 3-7pm.

To learn more see the whole article at Edible Grande Traverse Magazine and to get some of the hot fudge sauce visit www.ingrettaste.com
