Engagement Photos in Mesick, MI

Cheryl and Steve decided to have their engagement photos taken in Mesick, Michigan. The Manistee River is known for good fishing (brown trout and chinook salmon in May) and I wanted the two of them to show a little of their interests during the adventure! It’s a favorite spot for them and their families.

Cheryl had shared beforehand a couple of ideas with me from Pinterest and Steve was game.

We met at the Manistee River Trail and headed straight to the suspension bridge. Cheryl had a sweet chalkboard sign and Steve had his fishing poles.

We hiked around and enjoyed the quiet of the woods and the beauty of Spring in Mesick and they got to know me before their big day!

Can you believe this spot is just a few miles from my home? So beautiful!
