My very special friend wanted to gift her parents a family photo session at the botanic garden in Traverse City.
We created a gift certificate and set a date for when the rest of the family would be in town.
The day arrived and we started at the labyrinth. 
It’s just a short walk from the botanic garden welcome area.
Next, we explored the community gardens. They were just lovely!
The historic barns and sunflowers made for a beautiful backdrop.
My friend’s senior dog came along. Hasek was almost 18! (he is now)
