Nathan and Emily had a really fun wedding at Blue Bridge events center in Traverse City.
It warm and beautiful June day. Everyone was going with the flow.
N+E chose Blue Bridge Events because they had lots of beautiful outdoor spots, water, a bridge, and a campfire while also having the nicest staff to help the day run smoothly. Also, Blue Bridge was helpful when having to reschedule due to the pandemic.
I asked how they felt at the start of…
“Getting ready was really chill. We have been together so long, so it was a relief of sorts to finally have the wedding come together post-vaccination/COVID.” ~Nathan
Emily chose an embroidered dress that reflects her love of the outdoors paired with a stole that came from her mother.
N+E and their friends and family made wildflower seed envelopes for favors.
The entire wedding party was so much fun!
Nathan had a Petoskey stone bolo tie in the shape of Michigan.
Emily is a fisheries scientist and Nathan is an environmental scientist.
The two met a few years back when Nathan was working in Ann Arbor in the winter and Emily came all bundled up into the bar. The two share a love of craft beer and our amazing earth.
Oakey, their sweet pup was the best guest :)
In remembrance of Emily’s Mom.
The first kiss married!
Really, really a fun crew!
Nathan recorded music with my husband a while back and as a family friend, I was so happy when they asked me to be their photographer!
I take no offense at being flipped off for your photos ;)
The decor again reflected E+N’s love of nature.
Everyone had a great time celebrating Emily and Nathan <3
“Working with you was awesome!! It was great having a friend we felt comfortable with because I don’t think either of us is super comfortable in front of the camera and you made it super fun!! <3 <3
