Idyll Farm in Northport, Mi.

These are photos of Idyll Farm in Northport, Mi. Their cheeses are truly delicious. (This coming from a girl who has issues with dairy but loves cheese!)

Having never been to a goat farm, I went with no expectations..except that it would NOT rain..my expectation was not met..

But that was okay, because most of the photos had already been taken :)

If you are out in Northport call for a tour. The farm and tasting room are stunning and Amy and Mark Spitznagel are creating a wonderland.

You can also find their cheeses at local farm markets. You can find out where on through their link above. link.

You can also read all about them in Edible Grande Traverse Magazine/summer issue.

Enjoy!

Barb, Amy, and Madeleine the amazing cheese maker (you have to read the article for more on Madeleine, she is fantastic!

Goats are awful sweet. One can stare with fascination at their strange eyes but it won’t last long because the rest of the herd will be gently, head butting you for attention and pets.

Amy and Mark really have a lovely place!

The cheese is delicious!
